Revision #2

For this revision I basically just re made my last table of Contents page, but instead of using Microsoft Publisher I used Adobe InDesign. This allowed for me to build upon my editing knowledge and so I could see how magazine companies really achieve their results. Also, it was a lot easier to create this look with InDesign than in publisher because in publisher the spacing was all messed up and I had to completely format it myself. So, it was easier to put together in InDesign.

Digital Distribution Research

 The Travel Magazine digitally distributes through their app on the App Store. This app includes all their currently our issues. Although, the only way to access the. issues is you have to have a subscription. This way their audience can fully enjoy this magazine on the go on their phone or laptop. This way of digitally distributing is very smart and well though out which is why I will be taking these methods into consideration when I am digitally distributing my product.

This travel magazine called Conde Nast Traveler Magazine has their own website for their magazine where they sell subscriptions to their product. They have different plans for selling their magazine like by paying for a monthly or yearly subscription, and then they will send the magazine directly to the costumers house every month. This way of Digital distribution is very ingenious and definitely something I can use when I plan out my digital distribution plan especially because we have similar target audiences.

The Travel and Leisure magazine digitally distributes through amazon and their own website. I can incorporate this distribution methods into my magazine by creating a website for my magazine and advertising the subscriptions for my magazine. So I would start off with a minimum fee of 5.00 a month for my magazine. This way we start off small  and when we gain a bigger following we could increase the price. I could also distribute my magazine through Amazon which is goo because a lot of my target audience uses this shopping website frequently.

Distribution Plan

The methods of distribution I will be using it through Amazon, and cresting my own website that I can put on my Instagram for easy access to more information. This is because in my marketing plan I created and instagram account for advirtising and so my target audience could view exactly what we were all about pictures wise. By having the website linked on our page that will draw our audience for more and then we can sell it to them on our personal website. We also will be creating a mailing list in which a computer projected which people would be most interested in our product so we sent them in the mail a free trial of out magazine which leads to a full subscription if the costumer sticks with the trial. We also have out our magazine on commerce websites to attract more attention in a more traditional way.

Revision #1

For this revision I re shoot the cover photo for my magazine and edited it through Adobe photoshop. I thought this cover would be better suited for the color scheme I am going for. The other photo just was two warm toned for me and I need more blues in the cover photo. This photos color scheme is easily recognizable and appealing to the eye which is why I choose it. I also reformatted this in Adobe InDesign. This waylay magazine would be more refined and look more professionally done. Additionally, in my other cover photo the word Florida in my title was blending in with the clouds in the sky, but with this photo anyone can clearly see the title of my magazine.
